Mr. Anant S Iyer
Anant S Iyer is a distinguished leader in India’s alcoholic beverage industry with over three decades of experience spanning multinational corporations and leading Indian enterprises. He currently serves as Director General of the Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC), where he leads the industry’s policy advocacy and strategic engagement with government and stakeholders.
Prior to joining CIABC in August 2024, he held senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer at Alcobrew Distilleries India Pvt. Ltd. and Jagatjit Industries Ltd., with full P&L responsibility and oversight of multi-state operations. Earlier, at United Spirits Limited, he served as COO – RPC East & Nepal and Senior Vice President & Business Head, Luxury Brands, playing a key role in driving growth, premiumisation and market expansion across regions.
